The map images on this CD are stored in the MrSid (Multi-Resolution Seamless Image Database) format. The use of these maps requires the installation of the MrSid plug-in. This format allows for large compression of a file while maintaining fine details of an image.
MrSID allows immediate access to any part of an image, of any size, at any resolution.
If you have MrSID already installed you do not need to install it again.
If you are unsure if you have the above software installed click on the image below. If the image opens you do not need to install the plug-in, if the image does not open then click on the link below to install the plug-in.
